The Brazilian pygmy gecko (Coleodactylus amazonicus) is so small that raindrops pose a serious threat. Luckily, its body is so light and its skin so hydrophobic that it can shake off any drops that might land on it. It can even walk on water.

RealisticTiny Embroidered Animals by Chloe Giordano

Artist Tumblr

Chloe Giordano is a self-described “illustrator, avid reader, history lover and dreadful knitter” from Buckinghamshire, England. She may not be a great knitter, but her embroidery is more than up to par. Shown here are her tiny embroidered animals, done freehand. Giordano’s mixture of multiple colored threads adds detail and dimension

Artist Trina Merry uses the human body as her canvas in the New York Camouflage Series. Models covered in elaborate body paint blend perfectly into NYC’s urban landscapes.
